About 6.45am, a black Harley Davidson motorcycle and a white Toyota Camry collided on Abernethy Road, near Aitken Way.
Emergency services attended the scene. The 52-year-old male motorcycle rider was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital via St John WA, where he later died as a result of injuries sustained.
The 26-year-old male driver was uninjured.
A 26-year-old man from Canning Vale has been charged via summons with one count of 'Careless Driving Occasioning Death' and is due to appear in court at a later date.
