Mildura, the capital of Tropical North Victoria, is officially in the running to win the 2025 Victorian Top Tourism Town Award.

Locals and visitors now have a powerful role to play, casting their vote to ensure Mildura wins the coveted title.

The Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards, delivered by the Victoria Tourism Industry Council, recognise towns that deliver outstanding visitor experiences, foster collaboration among tourism operators and grow tourism to their destination.

Twenty-five towns across Victoria are vying for the award, which will come down, in part, to the result of a public vote.

Voting closes at 5pm on Friday 27 June. Head to t2m.io/TopTourismTownMildura25 to cast your vote.

Councillor for Events and Tourism Rebecca Crossling encouraged the community to head online and vote for Mildura.

"This is a powerful opportunity to reinforce Tropical North Victoria's position as a tourism hotspot, boasting some of the best attractions, weather, food and wine in the country," Cr Crossling said.

"The hugely successful Tropical North Victoria campaign has thrust our region into the national tourism spotlight, and our status as a Top Tourism Town Awards finalist is recognition of the campaign's success, lifting the veil on everything our beautiful region has to offer as an international-standard tourism destination.

"We now need our community, as well as the many thousands of visitors who've loved their stay in region, to get behind us and vote."

By voting, residents will also go into the draw to win 'One Perfect Melbourne Stay', which includes two nights at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins and dining vouchers for some of Melbourne's top restaurants.

The winning town will go on to represent Victoria at the Australian Top Tourism Town Awards.
