Police are appealing for information after a suspicious house fire in the Illawarra earlier this year.
About 2.30am on Wednesday 12 February 2025, emergency services were called to Fisher Street, Oak Flats, following reports of a fire in the backyard of a home.
The 39-year-old man inside the home managed extinguish a fire at the rear of the property before he noticed a second fire near the electricity box at the front of the house.
Fire and Rescue responded and extinguished the second blaze. No one was injured.
The fires are being treated as suspicious.
As inquiries continue, police have released a CCTV image of a vehicle seen in the vicinity of the fire and believe the driver may be able to assist with inquiries.
The vehicle is described as a white utility with black or grey roof racks.
